Need help???

If you are struggling in class, I strongly encourage that you seek assistance before falling too far behind. A great time to ask for help is during instruction, homework time, individual work times, or during Activity Period (1st hour). If students choose to see me during Activity Period, they need to communicate with me in advance so I can write them a pass.

Here are a few more options:

  • Learn Smart-  Learn Smart is a great way to practice what we are learning in class! Login using Clever and click on the "McGraw Hill" icon. Click "Launch," click on the menu (top left corner), click on "Homework", click on the black box title "Learn Smart." Continue clicking the green button saying "next and continue!" Please email me if you need further instructions!

  • Khan Academy- Khan Academy is a website that contains videos, lessons, and practice problems for a large variety of topics! My suggestion, click on "8th Grade" then search for the topic we are discussing in class. Again, please email me if you need further instructions!

  • Tutoring- Students are free to attend the tutoring lab on Tuesday-Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 in the media center for additional help.

  • Remember- it’s okay to ask for help! Everyone needs help from time to time and it’s okay to speak up! We are here to support you!
